I have always loved candles ~ the calm, the peace and the nostalgia from even the most subtle scents can transport you to a favorite memory.
What started as a fun hobby with my daughter Madison in the kitchen of my Cape style house soon turned into a fun way to share these beautifully scented candles. From this Capehouse Candle was born. Several of our candles are beach themed due to many summers spent on Cape Cod, Gloucester and Lake Winnipesaukee.
After much research, I decided to start a candle making business based on clean, high quality, toxin free ingredients all while helping other small businesses. Our 100% natural soy wax comes from soybeans grown on a small farm in Iowa. Our dough bowls are hand carved in Nairobi, Kenya by women who are paid a fair wage to provide for their families.
Born and raised just North of Boston, I have tried to capture all the magical seasons of New England. My 4 children, mostly grown, all help in the creative process. One of our favorite activities is to sit around and name the different scents.
Our goal is to create a clean burning, luxury candle at an affordable price. We will always use the healthiest, most natural ingredients available. We want to bring you peace and joy with all of our products! We hope you love them!
